Amazon has dropped the first-look teaser for the highly-anticipated terror anthology series Them.
Coming to Amazon on Friday, April 9th, the series — created by Little Marvin and co-executive produced by Lena Waithe — follows a Black family from North Carolina who migrates to an all-white Los Angeles neighborhood in the 1950s. However, once they move in, their hopes of a normal life vanishes when they begin to be terrorized by their neighbors and malevolent forces that threaten to destroy them.
During a press conference for the new teaser, Little Marvin said the series would explore “Black home ownership” as well as the question of “What happens when that safe space turns on you?”
Them, which will be the first major project from Little Marvin, stars Deborah Ayorinde, Ashley Thomas, Alison Pill, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Anika Noni Rose, Melody Hurd, and Ryan Kwanten.
