Summer Walker celebrates self-love in a long-awaited video for her single, “Body,” which premiered on

The expectant mom appears to be in a relaxed and reflective state looking over a balcony as she contemplates her forthcoming journey into motherhood.

“It’s different from what I’m used to doing,” the singer tells BAZAAR. “I think you should do what makes you feel good about your body.”

Filmed in Calabasas and Malibu, California, the stunning Lacey Dukes-directed video also puts Walker’s baby bump on full display. “I think I’ll be a great mom. I’m super excited,” Walker added.

Two years later, “Body” is still a fan-favorite from Walker’s platinum-selling debut, Over It, and samples702‘s “Get It Together.” Her 2019 debut won Album of the Year at the 2020 Soul Train Music Awards and earned her Top R&B Female Artist at the Billboard Music Awards.

In November, Walker released the Over It: Complete Set, which features instrumentals, a cappellas, and live renditions of tracks like “Body” and “Playing Games.” A month later, the 24-year-old signed fellow singer NO1-NOAH, as the first artist on her imprint label, Ghetto Earth Records through a joint venture deal with Interscope Records.

NO1-NOAH was featured on Walker’s Life on Earth EP, which debuted at #8 on the all-genre Billboard 200 Albums chart last July.
