The latest Verzuz battle between Redman and Method Man falls on 4/20, the national holiday for weed enthusiasts.
And in celebration of the day, the legendary emcees will go head to head playing and performing not only their favorite solo hits, but also their collaborative joints, including their 1995 anthem, “How High,” which inspired the 2001 stoner film comedy of the same name.
On Monday, Redman shared a preview trailer for the battle on Instagram, which finds himself and a muscular Method Man working out at the gym.
“I gotta get prepared I gotta get my wind up,” says Redman while running on the treadmill, before Method Man joins him to yell “Veruz!” into the camera.
It all goes down tonight at 8 p.m. EST. on the Triller app or via Instagram Live.
