Megan Thee Stallion is the fourth female rapper to land a campaign with Calvin Klein

Megan Thee Stallion is the latest female rapper to be featured in Calvin Klein’s famous ad campaign, giving Black women pride in seeing Megan’s Black girl magic and curves plastered on billboards around the world.

“I am so mind blown. This is such an iconic campaign!,” the “Savage” rapper wrote in the caption on Instagram Wednesday. “A Houston Texas gurl on billboards in Los Angeles and New York City for @calvinklein. Hotties we been in our bag.”

Megan’s underwear billboard for Calvin Klein follows Alabama rapper Chika and her voluptuous, curvy billboard featured in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood in May 2019. And before Megan and Chika, two other queens of rap posed in Calvin’s notable campaigns.

In 1999, Brooklyn rapper Foxy Brown posed in a pair of dark blue stretch jeans for a Calvin Klein campaign. She wore a black bikini top with matching black heels, while lying on the bed and standing near a window with the city view as her backdrop.

Prior to her death, the late Lisa Left Eye Lopes posed for Calvin’s “Dirty Denim” line. The Grammy-winning rapper was never replaced in the legendary group, TLC, after her untimely passing in a 2002 car accident.

Calvin Klein has also worked with male artists such as Kendrick LamarFetty Wap, and Joey Bada$$ in 2016.  A$AP Rocky, Ferg and their Mob Crew also posed for Calvin’s denim campaign in 2017, while Lil Nas X most recently worked with the brand last May.
