Over the last year, Lucky Daye has worked with several female vocalists, including Ari Lennox,Kehlani, Kiana Ledé, KIRBY, Queen Naija and more. And now, he’s got his sights set on collaborating with Grammy-winning vocalist H.E.R.

On Tuesday, H.E.R. shared a black-and-white video of herself at a photoshoot, paired with audio from the song “Lucky,” from her new album, Back of My Mind.

“Lucky, That we more than just an interlude /lucky I spend time with you /Lucky I be in the mood / Lucky,” H.E.R. wrote on Instagram, quoting the song’s lyrics. “#BOMM out now.”

After Lucky Daye saw the video on Instagram, he wrote in the comments, “I’m a hop on this.”

Others chimed in to build anticipation about the two R&B vocalists potentially joining forces, including H.E.R. and Daye’s Grammy- and Oscar-winning producer D’Mile, who revealed that “Lucky” was written years ago.

“@hermusicofficial @iamluckydaye I been saying this for about 2 or 3 years since I first heard this song!” D’Mile wrote in the comments.
