Kid Cudi dropping “1 more album” before end of record deal: “This is for all my fans that have been ridin w me”

Kid Cudi‘s deal with Republic Records is apparently nearing its end, but before then, he’s promised he’ll release another album.

In a pair of tweets Sunday, the rapper said he’s “doin 1 more album and then im done w my deal.” The project, he continued, is somewhat of a token of appreciation to his supporters. “This is for all my fans that have been ridin w me for so long,” he tweeted. “This will be all new music. The songs ive teased ill prolly put out as singles here and there to hold u over.”

Cudi didn’t announce a release date but said the album’s release “won’t be next year.” “Keep u posted,” he wrote to his followers.

Cudi recently dropped his album Entergalactic, which peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard 200. In one of his tweets, he admitted he’s “not sure what ima do after” the end of his record deal.
