Idris Elba reveals forthcoming collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion and Davido

These days, actor Idris Elba is busy with his side career as a DJ and rapper.

During an appearance on Capital FM’s The All-New Capital Weekender, the CATS star revealed he’s been working on new music during the pandemic to keep his skills sharp.

“I’ve really been sort of focused in coming out of last year into this year and trying to put more music out. So expect more,” said Elba, before revealing a track featuring Houston’s hot girl coach and Nigeria’s global pop star.

“I’ve got a sneaky tune with…ummmmm…Megan Thee Stallion and Davido! Shoutout to [production duo] The Fanatix,” the 48-year-old continued. “It’s one of those junctions where I just feel like life’s too short, you just gotta do what you want to do. So I’m creating music and making films this year.”

On the music tip, Idris Elba also made an appearance on Wiley‘s 2019 banger “Boasty” with Sean Paul and Stefflon Don, as well as on Connor Price‘s “Courteney Cox,” which was released last month.

This news arrives just one day after Megan revealed her guest appearance on Maroon 5‘s “Beautiful Mistakes” collaboration, which arrives March 3.
