Drake celebrates sixth anniversary of his classic ‘What a Time to Be Alive mixtape with Future’

Drake and Future have become a dynamic duo with numerous collabos. Now Drizzy is celebrating the sixth anniversary of their classic 2015 mixtape, What a Time to Be Alive.

The joint project was released September 20, 2015, debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, and featured their RIAA-certified quadruple-Platinum hit, “Jumpman.” The Champagne Papi remembered their success by posting a throwback photo on his Instagram story of them recording together in 2012.

Future is featured on “N 2 Deep” on Drake’s new Certified Lover Boy album. They also joined with Young Thug to record “Way 2 Sexy,” which is currently number two on the Billboard 100. Last year, the trio dropped “D4L” from Drake’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes mixtape.

In 2020, Drake was featured on the nine-times Platinum “Life Is Good,” from Future’s High Off Life album.

Also on Monday, the four-time Grammy winner posted an Instagram story video of him dining with DJ Khaled and Fat Joe who toasted him on the success of CLB, which has been number one for two weeks, As they raised their glasses, Drake showed his appreciation, saying, “Cheers my brothers. Thank you for having me.”
