In support of Mental Health Awareness month in May, Big Sean and his mother, Myra Anderson, are launching a new series of wellness videos.
The videos, which are presented by the rapper’s Sean Anderson Foundation, will be released every Saturday during the month and will see the duo cover a variety of topics including sleep, meditation, diet, exercise, and something called “the emotional freedom technique.”
Explaining the reasoning behind the project, Anderson said in a statement, “Sean and I wanted to share some of the no- or low-cost techniques that we have used over the years to help us attain and maintain emotional balance.”
She continued, “In the future, we may do a deeper dive into some of these techniques and other tools that we use.”
The “Bounce Back” rapper added, “I feel that Mental Health Awareness Month is the perfect time to talk with my mom about some of the things I have learned from her that have helped me along the way, and I hope will help others.”
Each 10-15 minute episode will be available on the Sean Anderson Foundation website and the IGTV channel.
