50 Cent seemingly retracts support for President Donald Trump

It seems that 50 Cent may have had a change of heart when it comes to his support of President Donald Trump

About a week ago the rapper backed President Trump for the upcoming presidential election over fears that his taxes would be raised if Joe Biden were to win. Shortly after the announcement, comedian Chelsea Handler, who also happens to be 50’s ex, called him out on Twitter and again during her appearance on the The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Handler told host Jimmy Fallon, “[50 Cent] says he doesn’t want to pay 62 percent in taxes — which, by the way, isn’t a plan of Joe Biden’s, that’s a lie — so he doesn’t want to pay 62 percent in taxes because he doesn’t want to go from being 50 Cent to 20 Cent.”

“I had to remind him that he was a Black person, so he can’t vote for Donald Trump, and that he shouldn’t be influencing an entire swath of people who may listen to him because he’s worried about his own personal pocketbook,” she continued.

“I haven’t heard back from him yet but I am willing to seal the deal in more ways than one if he changes his mind and publicly denounces Donald Trump,” she added. “I might be willing to go for another spin if you now what I’m talking about.”

That seemed enough to push 50, born Curtis Jackson, who retweeted the interview and wrote, “A what, another spin, [Forget] Donald Trump, I never liked him.”

Whether that actually means 50 is voting blue is still unclear, which prompted Handler to ask for clarification.

“Does this tweet me we can count on a vote for you for @JoeBiden?” she replied. “I’m happy to discuss this with you privately.”
