Pearl Jam and Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron is headed to late night TV for a week.
The grunge legend will sit in with the Late Night with Seth Meyers house band, the 8G Band, from February 1-4. The show airs weeknights at 12:35 a.m. ET on NBC.
Late Night often features guest drummers, and Cameron himself has manned the kit twice before on the show. Among the many others who’ve sat in with the 8G Band are Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ Chad Smith, Abe Laboriel Jr. of Paul McCartney‘s touring band, ex-Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum, The Smashing Pumpkins‘ Jimmy Chamberlin, Kenny Aronoff, Vinnie Colaiuta, Rage Against the Machine‘s Brad Wilk and Tool‘s Danny Carey.
Pearl Jam released their new album Gigaton last March.
